What does Mind/Body/Soul Balance look like for you

What does Mind/Body/Soul Balance look like for you

I thought I would share my day to day routine as an example of what I like to call a balanced Mind/Body/Soul.  I will share Demos in days to come where I note ‘Demo  Coming Soon’.  I will also share some of the products I use,  which I have found to be pretty reasonable (cost wise).

Habits/Intentions: Intermittent Fasting/Meditation/Breathwork/Yoga/Pilates/Vibration Plate/Weight Work/Cardio/Cleanish Household Products/Clean make-up and body products/Food mostly Organic, but there are the basics you can choose (the items with the most pesticides which I will share).  Choosing Organic on those items will make a difference.

My Personal Struggles: Hypothyroidism/Joint Pain/Thoughts that don’t always serve me (humanness 😊)

Meditation/Breathwork (8 min combines)

Meditation: I created my own inner light healing meditation that takes appox 5 min each morning. I follow that up with 3 minutes of breathwork. I also like to use the Insight Timer App which has some excellent meditations and courses.  I usually will do an insight timer meditation 2 or 3 days when I want a different meditation in place of the one I do daily.  Also, most mornings, on my way to work, I will also listen to a Gratitude meditation to be sure to have gratitude for all I currently am grateful for.  DEMO COMING SOON

Breathwork:  Just 3 minutes after (or before) morning meditation.     This includes one minute of a deep breath in through your nose for a count of 6, hold at the top for a count of 4 and release through your mouth for a count of 6.  Then 1 minute breath of fire belly breathing, and lastly 1 min alternate nostril breathing. DEMO COMING SOON

Morning Yoga Practice: 15 minute simple flow that I created myself.  I do this each morning during the weeks.  DEMO COMING SOON

10 minute Rowing twice a day (total 20 minutes that I break up during my work day) or 10 min elipticyle twice a day. You choose the cardio that you enjoy.   Total of 20 minutes for me.

4 days a week I will do a 20 minute weight workout.  I alternate days between upper body and lower body.  I will do a routine of 4 separate exercises with weights 10 to 12 reps each.  I alternate between lower and upper body (for 2 days each).

**Two days a week I do a Reform Pilates Class (50 minute Class) instead of my Yoga/Cardio/Weight Routine (Fri/Sat or Sun)**

**I use a Vibration Plate 15 to 20 minutes 4 times a week**   You can do this while watching TV.   I usually do this each week night.

This is what a Weekday might look for me.  One hour total.  I little more if I add the Vibration Plate.

-5 min morning meditation

-3 min breath work

-10 minute morning Rowing or Elipticyle followed by 15 min Yoga Flow

-10 minute afternoon Rowing or Elipticyle followed by 20 min Weight Work

-Vibration Plate at night before or after prepping dinner (4 nights)

-Weekend:  50 min Reform Pilates Class in place of the above

I also practice Intermittent Fasting,  and I would be happy to share tools and research on that subject as well.  This way of nourishing my body has been so healing in ways I never thought possible.  With Intermittent Fasting, I have found my body to have less inflammation, I have reduced my thyroid medication needs, healed my gut, and have come to the point where I can listen to my body’s intuition and I crave what it needs.  I have, naturally, grown to crave healthy foods.  My choices aren’t always perfect, but the idea is not to deny yourself what you want.  You just eat within a timeframe of your choosing and Fast Clean in between.  I get to stay healthy and fit and not restrict myself.  Key is to give my body healing time after an eating window (and that window is a time of my choosing).  I usually have a 5 hour window during the week and 6 to 7 on the weekend.

Minimal Supplements I take is a multi pack with Omega/CoQ10.   I also take Vit D (most of us are deficient), a Probiotic, and Magnesium.  I also do take Bio Identical Hormones along with Nature Throid.  I realize Hormone Replacement Therapy is not for everyone and I respect that choice.  Bio Identical are not the same as Synthetic.  I would 100% stay away from synthetic and I will, eventually, share what I have found (research from prominent medical sites) which lead to my own decision to add them to my regime.

I hope you find all (or some) of this helpful and motivating.  And, while I know there is only so much time in the day, and that it can be difficult to find time to exercise, meditate and, also do breathwork daily,  any amount of time you can begin with is helpful, and when you start feeling the benefits, it is quite habit forming.  Just start small and add things as you go.  This is just an example.  This is my personal routine.  My routine includes all of these things, and totals 1 hour.  You might pick and choose each day and have a 30 minute routine.    It all counts.

Peace Out
