Have you ever noticed how the tone you set at the beginning of your day often influences how everything unfolds? That is the power of intention at work.  Intention is more than a fleeting thought or wish.  It is the energetic force that directs your focus, aligns your actions, and calls experiences into your life. 

When we move through life without intention, we may feel scattered, reactive, or pulled in many directions.  But when we set clear intentions, we become purposeful, grounded, and open to opportunities that resonate with our inner truth.

What is Intention?

Intention is the conscious decision to direct your energy toward a desired outcome.  It’s not about forcing or controlling life. It’s about aligning your inner vibration with what you want to create.  Intention bridges the gap between thought and manifestation.

1)      Start your Morning with Presence: Before the day begins, pause.  Take a few deep breaths and center yourself.  Ask: How do I want to feel today?  Or What energy do I want to embody?

2)      Speak it Aloud or Write it Down: Words carry energy.  Saying your intention out loud or writing it in a journal anchors it into reality.  For Example. “I intend to move through my day with peace and patience.”

3)      Align Your Actions:  Intention without action is like planting a seed without watering it.  Notice the choices you make throughout your day.  Are they aligned with the energy of your intention?

4)      Infuse Your Healing Practices: Whether you’re meditating, practicing yoga, or receiving Reiki, set an intention before you begin.  This magnifies the power of the practice and guides the energy where it’s needed most.

5)      Release and Trust.  Once you’ve set your intention, let go of the need to control the outcome.  Trust that the universe will align with your vibration in the right way and at the right time.

Living with intention doesn’t mean life will always be perfect, but it does mean you’ll approach each moment with more clarity and purpose. Intention is your inner Compass. It keeps you aligned with your true self and opens the door to transformation.
